Check out your blue topaz carefully. You'll find a dazzling array of hues. The shades of blue you'll find range from a crystal clear ice blue to the deeper and smokier aquamarine tints. Realistically, you can get blue topaz jewelry in numerous different intensity levels and shades.

This however can be both good and bad. Most women love to show off their jewelry, but matching blue topaz pieces can be a bit challenging. For instance if you have an icy blue set of earrings, you may have trouble matching it with a ring or pendant necklace. That's not to say the necklace you own with the deep rich color stone is not beautiful in it's own right. It undoubtedly is. But it just won't work well with those clear earrings that, much like the finest cut diamond, will capture and reflect light all over the room. Compared to this, that necklace, instead of looking as stunning as it is, may actually come across as looking dirty.

You'll need to use a bit of imagination if this is the case. If you want to wear that necklace, find a pair of earrings that will match. It does not have to be a topaz pair. The combination will work much better as the pieces compliment each other.
